This is a comprehensive program that combines
classroom education with practical work experience. The consultant
will start with standardized class work and then work with
an experienced CorVu consultant to apply the skills learned.
A certification test will be given at the conclusion of the
program. This test ensures that the consultant can perform
CorVu consulting services at a level of expertise that will
satisfy, not only CorVu requirements, but the customer’s
as well.
Phase 1
Standardized Classroom Education - all candidates must complete
the full range of CorVu's public training courses for CorVu
Products. These classes are defined on the CorVu Corporate
web site. This phase is then followed by at least a two-week
period where the candidate(s) work with the CorVu product
on their own.
Phase 2
On-Site Implementation -CorVu will send an experienced Consultant
on-site to train your consultants how to implement and configure
the CorVu product. A classroom discussion will be held for
up to 4 people on advanced administration techniques including
CorVu deployment options, connectivity methods and the basic
CorVu Architecture. An CorVu implementation methodology is
recommended and documented. Deliverables include an implementation
manual for your team.
Phase 3
Power-User Training - Essential Skills for the CorVu Implementer
Candidates complete the two-day training class “More
Power Using CorVu 4.1” advanced usage class. The material
covered includes writing your own formulas, setting up specialty
graphing functions, using complex conditions and filters,
using conditional cross tabs and advanced discussions on joined
queries.
Phase 4
Rapid ROI Scoping Education- CorVu follows a proven doctrine
for providing professional services, the Rapid ROI (Return
on Investment). The Rapid ROI program provides the perfect
introduction to the CorVu solution’s development life
cycle. This seminar provides education and guidance for providing
timely and successful development projects.
Phase 5
Rapid ROI Vocational Training -The best training is hands-on.
Your candidate(s) will be required to gain 120 hours of on-the-job
training CorVu. Your candidate(s) will shadow an experienced
CorVu consultant on a Rapid ROI. The CorVu consultant will
be responsible for including tasks that will provide complete
coverage of CorVu skills and knowledge to best prepare the
partner consultant for the certification exam. CorVu will
work with you to accomplish the shadowing hours as economically
and as conveniently as possible.
Phase 6
A certification exam will be administered to gauge the consultant’s
expertise gained throughout the certification program. Upon
satisfactory completion of the exam, the consultant will be
certified and released to begin providing quality CorVu consulting
services. The consultant will be required to renew certification
annually. Refresher courses will be made available at an additional
charge.
