This is a comprehensive program that combines
classroom education with practical teaching experience. The
instructor will start with standardized class work and then
work with an experienced CorVu instructor using CorVu’s
class materials to apply the skills learned. A certification
test will be given at the conclusion of the program; this
test ensures that the instructor can lead CorVu education
courses that will provide the highest level of satisfaction
to the customer.
Phase 1
Standardized Classroom Education - all candidates must complete
the full range of CorVu's public training courses for CorVu
Products. These classes are defined on the CorVu Corporate
web site. This phase is then followed by at least a two-week
period where the candidate(s) work with the CorVu product
on their own.
Phase 2
Team Teaching - Co-train a week of CorStrategy/CorBusiness
courses at customer site or in CorVu’s main office in
North America with a certified CorVu instructor. Team Teaching
will allow the instructor-in-training to teach course content
with a certified CorVu instructor.
Provides for knowledge transfer between the trainer-in-training
and a certified CorVu instructor, as well as time to become
comfortable with training course content.
Allows direct interaction with clients’ questions and
the resolution with support of a certified CorVu instructor.
Allows time for the certified CorVu instructor to critique
and provide feedback to the trainer-in-training.
Phase 3
Certification Exam
A certification exam will be administered to gauge the instructor’s
expertise gained throughout the certification program. Upon
satisfactory completion of the exam the instructor will be
certified and released to perform a Course Review. The instructor
will be required to renew certification annually. Refresher
courses will be made available at an additional charge.
Phase 4
Certification Review
Once the instructor passes the certification exam they are
released to provide CorVu education in the areas the instructor
is certified. A review is performed at the time of the instructor’s
first course offering. An experienced CorVu instructor will
attend the education and act as an observer. The CorVu instructor
will provide a course evaluation. Upon receiving a satisfactory
evaluation the instructor is released to perform CorVu education
within their respective certification areas.
